Ten years of cultural and educational work… and a journey towards

the future#Kurdish_Cultural_Association_of_GenevaWith pride and respect, we celebrated today the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdish Cultural Association of Geneva, in the presence of children and their parents, representatives of several Kurdish cultural institutions and associations, as well as our guests and friends who shared this special moment with us. This celebration was an opportunity to mark ten years of continuous work and service in the areas of learning the Kurdish language, preservation of Kurdish culture and identity, as well as strengthening the values of participation, dialogue and living together in the city of Geneva.  Over the past ten years, the association has worked to build a bridge between cultures and to create an educational and cultural space for our children and our families, convinced that education and culture are the foundations of a brighter future for future generations. During this celebration, various performances were presented, highlighting the richness of Kurdish culture and the importance of its role in society.  Certificates of achievement were also given to students who completed the summer semester, in recognition of their efforts and commitment in learning the Kurdish language and their participation in cultural activities.  The joy of the children and the happiness of the parents were among the most beautiful moments of this day. We also had the honor of welcoming the Kurdish artist Deljîn, who enchanted the hearts of the participants with his beautiful singing accompanied by tembûr. She performed traditional songs, creating an atmosphere full of joy, emotion and cultural fervor which elicited numerous applause and expressions of appreciation from the participants. We express our deep gratitude to all the teachers, volunteers, supporters, parents and partner institutions, as well as to all the people who have contributed to the success of this journey over these ten years. Thank you also to everyone who was present today and who contributed to the success of this celebration. Ten years of learning, culture, participation and dialogue… and we will continue on this noble path. We will preserve our language and our culture, while remaining open to our society, attached to the values ​​of living together and mutual respect. Ten years of culture, education, participation and dialogue in the service of society.
