About the ACKG

The Kurdish Cultural Association of Geneva (ACKG) is a volunteer cultural organization that strives to promote Kurdish culture, strengthen cultural ties between the Swiss and the Kurds, and raise awareness of the use of the Kurdish language in society by offering Kurdish language courses for children and adults. The association aims to enhance understanding and cooperation between different cultures and to encourage cultural and linguistic diversity in Switzerland. It also works to strengthen relationships among members of the Kurdish community, social cohesion, and to protect community values by organizing cultural, social, and entertainment activities, such as art exhibitions, concerts, lectures, discussions, and other cultural activities.
